The rapid development of technology has enabled criminal and terrorist networks to expand their operations and connections far beyond their conflict zones. In response to law enforcement efforts, transnational criminal organisations have begun to use hybrid forms of entrepreneurship. Updated assessment and analysis of the hidden income of suspects can provide law enforcement agencies with a better understanding of how illegal networks operate, how decisions are made, how activities are distributed, and how criminal environments function. Increased resources and training, in addition to the implementation of innovative training strategies such as red (defensive-offensive) command exercises, will enable Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to contribute to the destruction and elimination of hybrid criminal groups and other forms of criminal organisations.
