In February 2026, LLC «IPE» successfully underwent a surveillance audit for conformity with the requirements of the international standard DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17020:2019 (EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012, IDT; ISO/IEC 17020:2012, IDT), which establishes the criteria for the competence, impartiality and consistent operation of inspection bodies. The surveillance audit was conducted by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine in accordance with the established procedures for periodic monitoring of the management system’s functioning.
Within the framework of the audit, the adequate level of competence of the inspection body of LLC «IPE», the effectiveness of the implemented management system, and the conformity of its activities with the principles of independence, impartiality and objectivity — which are the key requirements of the standard DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17020:2019 — were confirmed.
The audit team noted the uniqueness of the inspection body of LLC «IPE», capable of ensuring a comprehensive approach to conducting inspection activities, as well as the high level of professional competence of the personnel directly involved in the inspection processes. The adequate level of application of the process-based approach and internal regulation of activities was separately emphasized.
An important element of the surveillance audit was the direct observation of the conformity assessment process (independent professional expertise) at the place of its conduct. This approach made it possible to evaluate the practical implementation of the established procedures, in particular compliance with the inspection methodology, ensuring the objectivity of results and proper documentation of processes. In addition, the functioning of internal control mechanisms, the risk management system, as well as the reliability, reproducibility and justifiability of the inspection results were analyzed.
Based on the results of the surveillance audit, the systematic nature of LLC «IPE»’s activities in terms of continual improvement, enhancement of the professional level of personnel and development of internal management processes was noted. The results obtained confirm the body’s conformity with the requirements of DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17020:2019 (EN ISO/IEC 17020:2012, IDT; ISO/IEC 17020:2012, IDT) and its ability to ensure the stability, competence and reliability of inspection in accordance with internationally recognized principles.
