There is a basis for mechanical application of the Law of Ukraine “On some issues of importation into the customs territory of Ukraine and the first state registration of vehicles” to the classification code UKT ZED-87_05:100000 – truck cranes (truck cranes). These cranes are erroneously subject to certification requirements in accordance with environmental standards not lower than Euro-5, as they are classified in the heading under the code UKT ZED-87_05 without taking into account the purpose and characteristics of such wheeled vehicle as “Off-road vehicle”.
